How to apply
- LL.B. (Five Years Course) Eligibility: Students who have passed 12th standard examination with minimum of 45% marks for Open category and 40% marks for SC/ST students.
- LL.B. (Three Years Course) Eligibility: Graduates or Post Graduates in any faculty with minimum of 45% marks for Open category and 40% marks for SC/ST students.
Admission Procedure
MH LAW-CET is a national level common entrance examination conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra for admission into law programs. Based on the candidate’s performance, students can secure admission in BA LLB (5 Years Integrated Course) and LLB (3 Years Course).
How to Apply
For admission to L.L.B. three-year course and five-year course, candidates must clear the MH LAW-CET examination conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra.

Examination
Examinations are conducted by Shivaji University in the month of October/November and April/May every year. The university follows the semester pattern examination system.
Standard Of Passing (For Three-Year Law Course)
Each paper shall form a separate head of passing. Candidates must obtain at least 40% marks and 50% marks in the final year of both courses. Successful candidates who score 60% and above are placed in First Class, while those scoring 70% and above are placed in Distinction.

A.T.K.T. Rules - Three Year Law Course
- Students are eligible for admission to 2nd, 4th and 6th Semester after successfully keeping terms for 1st, 3rd and 5th Semester respectively, irrespective of examination results.
- For admission to the 3rd Semester, students must either pass 1st & 2nd Semester or pass at least 7 papers of both semesters.
- For admission to the 5th Semester, students must either pass 3rd & 4th Semester or pass at least 7 papers of both semesters.
A.T.K.T. Rules - Five Year Law Course
- Students are eligible for admission to 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th Semester after successfully keeping terms for previous semesters irrespective of results.
- For admission to the 3rd Semester, students must either pass 1st & 2nd Semester or pass at least 5 papers.
- For admission to the 5th Semester, students must either pass 3rd & 4th Semester or pass at least 7 papers.
- For admission to the 7th Semester, students must either pass 5th & 6th Semester or pass at least 7 papers.
- For admission to the 9th Semester, students must either pass 7th & 8th Semester or pass at least 7 papers.
