How to apply
- LL.B. ( Five years Course ) eligibility - Students who have passed 12th standard examination with minimum of 45% marks for open and 40% marks for SC and ST students.
- LL.B.(Three Years Course ) eligibility - graduate or post graduates in any faculty with minimum of 45% marks for open and 40% marks for SC and ST students.
Admission Procedure:
MH LAW-CET is a national level common entrance exam conducted by Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra to shortlist aspirants for admission in law programs offered in the State. On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in MH CET-LAW 2018 exam, candidates can secure admission in BA LLB (5 years integrated course) and LLB (3 years) Course.
How to apply:
For admission to L.L.B. three-year course and five year course, the candidate must clear MH LAW- CET examination conducted by Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra.

Number of seats available:
For L.L.B. three year course 1st year : 60 seats
For Pre law five year course 1st year : 60 seats
Examination
Examinations are conducted by the shivaji university in the month of Oct./Nov. and in the month of April / May every year. There is semester pattern of examination.
Standard Of Passing: (For Three-Year Law Course)
Each paper shall form a separate head of passing to pass the examination and the candidate must obtain at least 40% marks and 50% marks in the final year of both courses. Successful candidates who score 60% and above are placed in First Class while those scoring 70% and above are placed in Distinction.

Three Year Law Course
- 2nd, 4th and 6th Semester - A student for being eligible for admission to the 2nd, 4th and 6th Semester must have successfully kept the terms for the 1st, 3rd & 5th Semester respectively of the result of these Semester examination.
- 3rd Semester - A student for being eligible for admission to the 3rd Semester must have passed either in 1st and 2nd semester or must have passed in at least 7 Papers of the 1st & 2nd Semester.
- 5th Semester - A student for being eligible for admission to the 5th Semester must have either passed in the 3rd & 4th Semester or must have passed in at least 7 Papers of the 3rd & 4th Semester.
For Five year law course
- A student for being eligible for admission to 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th Semester must have successfully kept terms for the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th Semester respectively, irrespective of the result of these Semester Examinations.
- 3rd Semester- A student for being eligible for admission to the 3rd Semester must have either passed in the 1st and 2nd Semester or must have passed in at least 5 papers of the 1st and 2nd Semester.
- 5th Semester- A student for being eligible for admission to the 5th Semester must have either passed in the 3rd and 4th Semester or must have passed in at least 7 papers of the 3rd and 4th Semester.
- 7th Semester-A student for being eligible for admission to the 7th Semester must have either passed in 5th and 6th Semester or must have passed in at least 7 papers of 5th and 6th Semester.
- 9th Semester- A student for being eligible for admission to the 9th Semester must have either passed in the 7th and 8th Semester or must have passed in at least 7 papers of the 7th and 8th Semester.
